Save the date for the Women’s Business Network’s Luncheon: “What you need to know about health care right now.” This informative luncheon will commence by giving attendees the chance to network with other women who work in the Sandy Springs area. It’s a great opportunity to make new contacts and increase your professional resources. Then, there will be a panel discussion covering many different patient-driven topics on health care. Panelists in several different areas of health care will come together to discuss the newest changes in the industry. Women will gain a better understanding of their rights as patients, medical malpractice signs, billing errors and HIPAA regulations. At the end of the discussion, there will be time for a questions and answers session. There is no doubt that everyone will leave with more knowledge about the health care system.
The event is on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 and begins at 11:30 at the Cancer Support Community building off of Peachtree Dunwoody Road. It is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members. Please register prior to the event so they know how many boxed lunches to order. If you do not pre-register, there is no guarantee that you will have a lunch. You can easily register online through the Sandy Springs Chamber website, just click on the event from the homepage.
