Sandy Springs residents will be able to securely dispose of personal documents on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 1pm to 4pm at the Sandy Springs Recycling Center,  470 Morgan Falls Road, Sandy Springs. This free event provides on-site shredding for peace-of-mind for participants and all paper will be recycled.

Help prevent identity theft and bring your sensitive documents for secure shredding on-site. Examples of sensitive documents include old tax returns, junk mail with personal information, dated documents with personal information, dated pay stubs with personal information, etc. There is a limit of five boxes or 200 pounds of paper per vehicle.

There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcomed and benefit the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Keep North Fulton Beautiful.

They will also accept F.O.G. (cooking Fats, Oils, and Grease) for recycling at this event, as well as all other items they take on a daily basis.
