Easter is quickly approaching and other than the Easter Bunny, hunting eggs is probably the most popular aspect of the holiday. Which is why children ages 2 – 9 should gather baskets and buckets in order to prepare for the Sandy Springs Easter Egg Hunt. Set for Saturday, April 16, 2011, not only will kids be collecting eggs, but they can also meet the Easter Bunny, get their face painted and take a tour of a fire truck. The festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Hammond Park Gymnasium.
Of course, the hunts will be divided by age group to ensure each child gets a fair chance to gather as many eggs as possible. The best part is that participation is completely free of charge! Also, no registration is required. For more information, call 770-206-2035.
