John Manser Recruiting Cyclists for Fall Event

24 Hours of Booty Cycling Event in AtlantaCharitable runners and walkers benefit from having a myriad of different opportunities to raise money for a good cause. For example, everyone knows about the three-day walk which raises money for breast cancer and many people are familiar with TNT (Team in Training) in which people participate in different races while raising money for leukemia. Well, Sandy Springs resident John Manser is happy to spread the word about a fundraiser for cyclists and hopes to recruit some participants in the process.

24 Hours of Booty: Atlanta ride will bring more than 400 cyclists to Stone Mountain this October and raise more than $250,000 for cancer research. The great thing about this endurance event is that cyclists of all levels are welcome to participate. While the event lasts 24 hours, there are no requirements for how long one person needs to be on the bike. Of course, by joining John Manser’s team now, you can partake in the weekly training rides hosted by John and be able to set a high goal for yourself by the time the event comes around. 24 Hours of Booty is a team event, and John’s team, “Team Pirate Treasure,” currently has 67 members. He is hoping to have a team of 100 for the event. To get more information about 24 Hours of Booty as well as John’s team and training rides, join him for a happy hour on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Three Sheets.
