Rotary Club of Sandy Springs Hosts Annual Charity Event

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs is holding their 16th Annual Charity Community Event on March 12, 2011. The evening consists of a plethora of different types of entertainment including live music, items being sold in a live and silent auction, fantastic buffet-style cuisine, dancing and more. Saturday night is typically date night for most couples, and there’s no doubt that dinner and dancing makes for one romantic date night. So, why not plan to spend the evening with your significant other at the Rotary Club’s charitable event and put your money towards a good cause.

The festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Retreat at Perimeter Summit, 1001 Summit Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30319. Yes, we mentioned that live music is part of the evening’s itinerary, but we did not tell you it will be acclaimed jazz recording artist Joe Gransden, who plays one “hell of a trumpet” according to Clint Eastwood. Dinner will be provided by Villa Christina. When not spending your time on the dance floor or enjoying the excellent fare, take a look at the items up for bidding in the silent and live auctions. You will no doubt find some extraordinary things to bid on as they have items from Guffey’s Fine Clothing, Concentrics Restaurants, The Frame Source, golf outings and much more. Funds raised support the charitable community and international projects of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. Purchase tickets at $100 each at sandyspringsrotary.org.
