While summer vacation may be winding down, the summer season is still in full swing. As a result, we are suffering from excruciating heat and humidity. So, this weekend, why not make plans to remain indoors and visit the Lefont Theater in Sandy Springs.
On Saturday night, July 30, 2011, the Lefont Theater and Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence will join forces to raise awareness for domestic violence by screening the film Crime After Crime at Lefont Theater. Tickets are $25, with $15 of it going directly to the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence. In addition, Lefont Theater will be providing complimentary popcorn.
The movie will be shown at 7 p.m. Saturday. Immediately following, members of the cast will host a panel discussion with R&B singer KeKe Wyatt, a domestic abuse survivor, and domestic violence professionals.
