The Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department has announced the date for the 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance. This year’s event will take place on February 5, 2011 at Woodland Charter Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m. The dance is for any girl from Kindergarten to 5th grade attending school in Sandy Springs. When it comes to father-daughter bonding time, there is hardly a better way to enjoy your relationship than spending an evening dancing and making her feel like the princess that she is.
The DJ will be playing music from both generations, so that both you and your daughter will be hearing some of your all time favorites. In addition to all of the dancing, there will be musical games, door prizes and complimentary snacks and refreshments. Plus, each girl gets to go home with their very own goodie bag. Oh, and for the record, the attire is business-casual to semi formal.
This being said, you want to ensure that you and your baby girl do not miss out on this year’s event. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to the first 125 couples. So, you do not want to hesitate in registering. The cost is only $30 for the father and daughter, and that includes a souvenir photo. Registration is simple, you can do it online or in person.
