So, whether you are in need of ideas for a kitchen makeover or whether you just like to tour other people’s houses, don’t miss The Atlanta Tour of Kitchens on March 19 and 20, 2011.

The 2011 tour of kitchens is the 14th Annual event for the Atlanta Junior League and showcases Atlanta’s finest residential kitchens created by the city’s most celebrated kitchen designers. Not only do you get to tour these impeccable, gourmet kitchens, but each home will also feature cooking demos from some of Atlanta’s best chefs. This self-guided tour features 14 homes in the North Metro Atlanta areas of Buckhead, Brookhaven, Ansley Park, Morningside, Midtown, Vinings, Sandy Springs and Dunwoody.

The money raised by this event will support the Junior League of Atlanta’s work with more than 98 community-partner organizations that promote empowering women and children to become self-reliant. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door and can be purchased online. The Atlanta Tour of Kitchens will be open from 10 a.m.- 4p.m. on Mar. 19 and 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Mar. 20. Be sure to peruse the program guide for directions to each home as well as find detailed information about the chefs who will be featured and the times of their demonstrations.
